There are two realities we need to know clearly – what love is and how easy it is to be loving. We have all been taught about wanting and termed it as loving. For example; I love you means I want you to be with me. I want to be with you. I miss not having you with me, and the list of wants goes on.
What is love?
Most people believe love to be a feeling. The truth is that love is existence itself. It is who you are. Do you want proof of this statement? If you are a father or a mother, imagine how you felt when your child was born. Wasn’t there unquantifiable joy at that moment? That’s what your child brought into this world with his birth. That’s what you brought into this earth with your birth. Ask your parents and you will know.
Love is not between two people. Love is from within to all of creation. It is all-inclusive and all-loving. If it is selective, then it is attraction, wanting, and pleasure. Love emerges from the heart and fills the being. You feel light and happy, and everything is ok when you are in love. That’s all.

What is not love?
When you want love, the heart begins to race, desire kicks in, and love turns to pleasure. You want more of it. Then, love is trampled over by the desire for pleasure. You don’t need anyone else or anyone else’s memory to experience love.
How to experience love?
There are countless ways to experience love. I want to share one method with you. This is a reflective method meaning, we will create a reflection and share the love with it. The process is fairly simple.
Imagine any person you adore, admire, or respect sitting or standing in front of you. Now imagine the Sun on the sky, bright but it’s not sunny. Position the Sun in the sky between the two of you.
Now, fold your hands in the Namaskara position. Feel the rays of the Sun falling on you. Breathe the rays of the Sun into you. Then, breathe out and direct the rays of the Sun on the person. Do this several times until you are left with a smile so vast that it will melt all stress away.
